Deafblind Awareness Week
In 2019, we celebrate Helen Keller Deaf-Blind Awareness Week from June 23rd to June 29th. The theme this year is MAKING CONNECTIONS WITH THE DEAF-BLIND COMMUNITY.
The essence of the message is that sometimes when you least expect it, you experience an interaction that can change your life forever. We want to inspire people to look for those moments and consciously create mutually awe-inspiring connections inclusive of members of the deaf-blind community.

The Tadoma Method of communication – with his fingers, David feels the movement of your lips and the vibrations on your vocal chords and then interprets the words!
